Thought it might be fun (and helpful to others searching for LS info) to have a thread where every post has a picture of an LS tractor doing something. There are lots of threads with pictures, but there is a lot of "chatty" space between them.

The rule of this thread is... EVERY POST MUST HAVE A PICTURE !!! Even if you're responding to someone else's pic, you must include one yourself. Discussions on pics & such are welcome, but you still need to supply a pic (preferable a new one that we haven't seen yet) every time you post. LS only. Yes... you can still be chatty... you just have to add a pic! The tractor can be the focus of the pic, or even be in the background somewhere... doesn't matter as long as you supply a pic with an LS tractor.

I'll start... My LS R4041:

I love the rake, could I bother you and ask what you paid for that.

Thanks. Finally found one on sale at my local farm supply store (Family Farm & Home)... $399, it's the King-Kutter "professional series" 72" rake. As soon as I got it home, I added some steel for strength (to prevent twisting, making the tines the true weakest link) and repainted it of course :D

I feel so lame....mine is also a King Kutter 72", but I bought it used for $150, and haven't even thought about painting it yet, much less improving it like yours!

Yeah jerk... You and your auction rake! LOL. I gave up trying to find a good used one for a good price. The best I could find for a 72" used was around $300, so for $100 more, might as well go new.

Unfortunately, those trees wouldn't fare too well in our location... Might fit in better in your sub though KenB2920

I would love to have a few. As TSO said I don't think Michigan weather will support them.

However TSO, I did see trees that look exactly like palm trees at hall / Hayes at that nursery. They must be some kind of relative. I will be stopping in there to ask. I would love to plant a few of them just to see people reactions. How do you have palm trees?!?

Technically I do own these tractors too. See the blue is out front and no orange in this photo.

LOL on that second picture... That's funny. It's a good thing we can make out my LS on the left... Otherwise we'd have to ban you from the thread!

I haven't been by that nursery in awhile, but now I'm curious.

About 50 years ago, people around here were sold on planting Port Orford cedars. Here in our wet region, they made it for less than 40 years and died of root rot. I saw that a friend's driveway, about seven miles from here, had a line of 12 of them that looked pretty sad with their rotten tops. I asked if I could have them and he was really happy to get them gone. Sadly, I don't have a 'before' picture. I took the camera with me today though.

I hired my tree guy to drop them and I got one load out yesterday. They are very limby and it takes a lot of time just to get them ready to haul. I'm getting some use out of the log forks I built. So, here's some pics of today's first load. There might not be a second load, as the electric trailer brake controller apparently isn't working and I almost could not stop with this load.

The sapwood is compost but PO cedar's heartwood is used for boat building. I love me some PO cedar boards. This is a great windfall for me and my WoodMizer. I couldn't show the unloading here yesterday of the two biggest logs, as all I have on this end is my CubCadet. This is the first time since I got that CC that I've really needed two tractors. I gotta get all those logs home so I can bring the LS home and get to the mowing.
