Jake98, I checked out the link and think something the size of th 60 would be good. How long have you had yours?

Must be going on two years now.. it never had a hiccup.

Just spoke with Everlast and there is NO sales, service, or parts anywhere in NY state. YIKES! That is a bit of a turn off, can't even get consumables for the 60 at a local supplier, online only. Crossing that one off the list. :(

Depends on which torch you have. The trafimet torch does have local suppliers AND online sources. The Panasonic designed torch has multiple online sources of suppliers and they are cheap, though they can range in quality. Trafimet is one of the worlds largest torch makers. Plasma consumables are usually proprietary, and you will likely pay a WHOLE lot more for HT consumables and in real life, you won't see a lot more life out of them, at least not that will make up the difference in price, from my own experience, and many of my customers reports who are former HT customers. Then you have a confusing array of consumables that have to be used to do multiple tasks, each costing money, and requiring a significant stock of them to do different jobs. Trafimet offers several different styles, but even their basic one can cut for more than one application, and are good GP, consumables. Airgas in some regions carries Trafimet. Many independents do as well. Not sure who actually carries Trafimet in your area. Actually in some areas they carry our product as well. But When you deal direct with a company without a local representative, like ours, you deal direct, with no middle men. We do have dealers spread throughout the country, as small as we are. But we've been around since 2004 and made quite a lot of head way in the market...People have been saying we won't last a year or two, or that our product won't last a year or two since we started. Must tell you someone was wrong too.

Hypertherm makes excellent cutters, but their prices can be too much for an average user. I think if you are going to be buying another brand, especially one that produces in China, you have to look at the track record of the company and their service, warranty, and how easy they are to get a hold off.

Another thing to determine if you are every going to use a CNC tables as most tables have a hard time with High Frequency plasma cutters. We carry both blow-back and HF models.

If you have any questions, we have a knowledgeable staff on hand that can help. You can also speak with our welders and get their opinions on different models.

You can check out some of the cutters we have on our website: Welding Machine, Welder, Welding Supplies, Welders, Welding Equipment and compare pricing as well. We also have some setup videos of our machines on our youtube page. Here is a sample:
