Check return line off steering orbital valve. Hydro precharge is only 150psi or so. Some hydro drives have internal precharge pumps.

The company surprisingly enough has a used case so with all new parts it would still be a few hundred less then a dealers new one.

I guess it probably wouldn't "technically" be rebuilt then, unless they use the top piston/springs assembly.

Could you share the company you found. I too have a busted HST case on my bx2200 and am having difficulty finding one.

Mine didn't explode quite as spectacularly as yours but the case is busted nonetheless.
