Plowing in the rain

Snow? I saw that once on one of those "Rocky" movies. I think Stallone went walking through it or something. It looked really cold. I'll pass.

My LB1914 doesn't have an oem or aftermarket cab available so you have to improvise. May not look pretty but I kept dry yesterday.

Yeah i got soaked the first time i went out. Then I put a little cheapo ingenuity together and used 2 C-clamps and a piece of 1/4" plywood and maid myself a roof.

I was a real "lamer" during the 6.5+ snow/rain (?) event yesterday as I did not go out and use all my fancyass goretex clothes and plow when things were managible. Instead I waited until this morning after everything froze up and managed to sever in many places my 75' outdoor electrical extension cord with my box blade scarifiers and the cutting edge of my FEL :( after I "carefully" tried to get the extension cord out from under the frozen stuff :(. Jay

PS: Part of the "learning curve".

I guess it was not plugged when you did that.

Jay,
Next time maybe plug it into something slightly too big for it and it ought to melt itself out. Might even cause a small fire for some extra excitement...

Thanks for the laugh :D! You know everytime I think that I finally know what I am doing I do something that proves otherwise . I am a "stimulus junkie", but I am not as extreme as I used to be :p. Jay :)

We got the freezing rain first, and then the snow. I wear a rain suit and then when I'm done I dry off the tractor and then I sit by the fireplace and have coffee and cookies and look out the window at my handiwork.:)

Could have, should have, would have..... hindsight is always so "20-20". Jay

PS: I did go out and purchase a better 100' outdoor extension cord. We'll see how long it lasts . Jay
