Pole Barn advice

I was told the line was well short of the barn location and I also had a locate done on previous jobs that showed nothing out there. So, they did not.

Man you got lucky. Locates are only good for 30-days, or until the paint wears away...at least that's how it is here. Is the line downstream of the meter? If so, it's considered yours and locating companies won't locate it unless you pay them too. If not, it's the utility company's.

I am aware of that.... NOW! ;)

Glad to see that you extended the end poles as high as possible. That adds a hugh amount of support. Are you running the metal all the way to the bottom or are you putting in any bump boards? I think I put in 5 rows of treated 2x6 all around and glad I did.

What are the colors you use?

Although it looks green in the picture, it's light gray on top, and charcoal for the wainscoting and roof. The trim will be white. It will match the house pretty well.

Two more questions. Your build colors are consistent with our choices What company is building your barn and what company are they using for the metal. I seem to be having a hard time with choosing a color for our barn and all they keep saying is the color samples I have don't really match the actual colors, go figure.
The metal company our builder is using is Everlast. Thanks.

The construction company and lumber yard the materials were ordered from are both locally owned, smaller companies. I'll have to look for the sample chart for the metal when I get off of work in the morning, that might be more helpful for you to look into.
