Pop ups while using TBN

The last few days I have been getting these pop ups while on TBN. I don稚 get them while browsing on any other websites or forums. I am using Safari on an iPad. I just downloaded the newest version of the iOS last night and these still pop up.

I use AdBlockPlus on my web browser program and never have a pop up. I'm also using Firefox. Check the tools section of your Safari browser. Look for add-ons for an adblock download.

I get them occasionally using my phone. I haven't seen them while using TBN though. I use Chrome on Android and I have to close the tab to get out of it.

I'd love to know how to get rid of it.

Hmm, that has nothing to do with us, I suspect malware on your ipad (source unknown). Does it happen every single time you visit?

Hi, yes it does. And it locks up Safari so I have to restart. This does not happen when browsing any other sites or forums. Or while using any other apps on iPad.
I did download Ads Free, but that did not stop it from happening again.

I only ever get them (on a few other forums, not here yet) while on my iPad and using Safari-no adblocker is installed.

MANY other users in many forums are complaining of this, it's a real problem and admins are having a hard time nailing it down since every link is different.

Thanks, that link is for Windows. I am using iPad and there is not a Malwarebytes app available for iOS.

Still searching for other options specific to iPads.

I broke down and finally installed the Chrome browser on my iPad, and so far I've not seen a pop-up with it. :fingerscrossed:

Hmmm - - I'm running an IMac with 10.9.5 OS(Maverick) and AddBlockPlus. My default browser is Safari with Firefox and OnmiWeb for backup. I've never had problems with popups. My most recent concern is - - "You do not have permission to post that picture on this site - - please reload and reauthorize - blah,blah". Been this way for a month.

I have been using Chrome the last couple of days and have not seen the pop up at all. I might try to reload Safari and see if that clears it, but I don’t really care which browser I use.
