Thanks to all who helped me out. I was able to build my own power beyond kit for my JD 790 from mostly stock parts. To help others who what to do the same, here are photos with the various parts I used to build the power beyond. I got the hoses from surplus Center, and the fittings from Discount Hydraulic Hose. The only tricky part was that I had to reuse one of the banjo fitting. To do so I had to have a hydro shop weld a 3/8" JIC on the original banjo fitting. Other than that, it was actually easy to install. I estimate it cost about $150. Hope this helps.

,A follow up question, that may have been answered earlier in the thread... when your backhoe is removed, do the lines need to be coupled together for proper operation of the hydraulic system? It would seem they would, to replicate the flow the original line provides. G
