Your hatred for 3 point implements is somewhat unfounded. Some jobs are flat out done better from the back and the ability to use 2 implements at once opens up a lot of options. Plus itç—´ a lot cheaper that way. With a good 3 point hitch it can be swapped in just a couple minutes.

It's not unfounded. I'm glad I don't need them. And I've made it so I'll hopefully never need one ever never ever again. ;)

Well I hate hooking up a heavy 3pt implement that you can't manhandle around, especially if the tractor doesn't have telescopic lower arms. I always seemed to be out back, no tools, kicking with boot trying to get that arm to slid on the pin, then there is all the adjustments! It is nice with the Power trac, it seems they make it sloppy enough that it goes right on even if not level. The hardest part is the hyd hoses.

My left hand has been in a cast for the past 4 weeks. I have had no problems connecting or disconnecting my mower hydraulics with one hand each week. 2 more weeks to go.

Roger that. I am a nut with cleanliness when dealing with those lines and make if more of a project. I believe if there is dirt collected on those fittings it will end up in your system filters and or pumps/motors. I cap mine when not in use and then even wipe them out before connecting.

I just wipe mine off with a paper towel if I see debris on them. If I'm doing dirt work with the bucket, I'll put the caps on the unused connectors on the FEL arms. When I'm not using my mower or brush cutter, I keep the hoses connected together. Keeps the dirt out. Can't do that on the snow plow, as they are both female ends. Some day I'll swap the AUX PTO connections around to make them male/female on the FEL arms instead of the male/male that came from the factory.

I finally got the fire extinguisher on today. The parking brake lever I done last year; it gives me move leverage, more comfortable handle, and it's down out of the way so it doesn't hit my knee. IMG_1211.jpg

Good place for the fire ext. On your park brake, did your handle start off in the vertical position and you just made it longer? Mine starts off in the horizontal (off) and goes up from there. I think I would like to have it like yours, seems like it would be easier.

I will take a better picture of it tomorrow, but yes, this was horizontal too before I retro fitted it. From this picture you can see where the original handle was that I cut off, then welded a extra little piece on for a stop against that nut when the parking brake pin is fully engaged. Then welded that piece of pipe onto the original handle.

The hood on this tractor is heavy, so I did not want to add anymore weight to it by putting a fire extinguisher on it.

Great solution. Much better than WoodMax conversion that I did; I used a direct drive coupling instead of a chain.

How big a white motor is that?

All the best, Peter

I am interested in the mower, can I have your number or PM me with the details or your number.
