Propane: Anyone know current prices

Well, I arrived home yesterday to a filled tank:thumbsup:

Bill on the door was 342 gallons @ 2.159/gallon + 7% tax, nothing more. No hidden suprises or anything.

And he even fixed the guage:thumbsup: It had condensation inside it and was difficult to read, but could be done, now it is crystal clear with a new guage:thumbsup:

I think this thread needs to be closed!!! This endless needling by LD1 of low propane prices, 'no fee' tank rentals and excellent service by his propane company needs to stop!!

Contract price for me was $2.22. Seems like it wasn't that long ago I was paying $.89 for it. Maybe it was longer then I think. Time flies by.

Paid 2.20 for about 300 gal about a month ago. I rent the tank. Ferrel gas is our supplier. We burn less than 100 gal/year.

The gauge is easy to replace because it operates off a magnet that moves in the tank. Just unscrew the ring or collar that holds it down, and pick it up. You can adjust the gauge the same way, unscrew the ring and rotate the gauge.
