yes typo mistake, both are the same.

I don't think those are "typos", it's the way the blasted site software handles 0's in links, it tends to drop them.

Just so you know IMD is made in America, kind of. They are an importer of Sincro generators and gearboxes made in Italy and then they add their power distribution box to it. Sincro is a well respected brand and equal to Mec Alte. So the one being sold overseas for half of the price is a knockoff or just a plain scam and you won't get anything.

I have a Voltmaster 12/15 which is a Mec Alte generator and so are the smaller Winco generators. Only the 25K and up Winco generators are made in America and they don't have the THD that the smaller ones do.

The China generators are really hit and miss on quality, some work fine and some aren't worth the effort to throw it away.

Statements such as Lightweight for maximum durability or THD +/- 5% would make me suspicious.
Usually lightweight means less durability. There is no negative THD (Total Harmonic distortion). Pure sine wave has THD=0

The notation +/- 5% is usually taken to mean "approximately 5%".

A cheap chinese pto generator can be run fine.. I'd be warry about a tractor that can't however.. be run in it's rpm range under the red line. For instance.. my old fords have a 540 pto rpm line... but you can surely run them higher without blow up....
