A 13 kw standby has a minimum 250 gal tank due to the amount of vapor it pulls. I have seen alot of issues with shut down on 100 gal tanks
how come units are not liquid pull? too costly?

After thinking about the PTO generator, costs, and potential usage I am leaning toward a 13kW propane driven generator and a 100 gal propane tank.
Should get it done for less than $1800.00

only the real large liquid cooled generators use liquid propane draw. rest are vapor draw.how come units are not liquid pull? too costly?
How long do you expect a 100 pound tank to last??

That's my thoughts exactly!I don’t think that is going to happen with a single 100 lb cylinder.
It’s doubtful that you would even be able to maintain the maximum load on the generator depending on outdoor temp.
