PTO shaft how do you keep it off the ground ?

I had a chain that I sometimes used as the top link on the bush hog. When disconnected, I'd use the chain to hold the PTO shaft up. Just realized yesterday that I may have left the chain on the old bush hog.

On the chipper/shredder, I use a tension cord to hold the PTO shaft up.

Any issues with condensate forming in the bag? That'd be my worry.

I just set mine down on a piece of 2X4 to keep it out of the dirt. Seems to work ok.

That is just "too darn simple" that just cant work!

I use a left-over piece of swingset chain for the bushhog.

For the tiller, each half is maybe only 14" long. With them slid together, it cannot reach the ground but can come apart. So I pull the tractor half and lay it on top of the tiller.

That, and water running down the shaft and through an imperfect seal between the shaft & bag, then being trapped in the bag.

Not an idea I'm going to adopt. I'm all about letting nature dry out the stuff it gets wet.
