I didn't think about driving over the mower. I may have to try that. I'm going to see if it will damage anything first. With my luck it will probably knock the tranny out /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

rv,

I don't think the MMM for the 2305 is a drive-over design. I think you will find (my guess) that the lift links are not parallel to the ground, therefore, a forward or rearward position of an 1/8" or 1/4" might make all the difference to clear your gearbox. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Just FYI I was at my dealer today and they had a 2305 on their lot with a Woods BH6000 attached. I was in a hurry and didn't ask any questions, but they had it attached. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The I Match hitch for my 2305 arrived yesterday and I have a question. I can not pull my garden trailer with the quick hitch attached. The tongue is too short. Does anyone know of a drawbar attachment for a I Match hitch? Or is there a tongue extension? Or any other ideas?

Thanks, this is my first post and not quite familiar with this forum yet.

It's possible that your drawbar has multiple holes which allow it to be set out farther. Take a look.

Can you give me your dealers name. I would like to call them and find out.
Thanks

I don't have a drawbar yet. I have been using the hitch under the pto. I guess what I can do is put a drawbar on the I Match hitch and some sort of drawbar lock so it wouldn't swivel. What I would really like is the swinging drawbar that attaches to the hitch under the pto and slides across the drawbar on the I Match. Then I could pick up my cargo trailer and drag it around. That is like the setup my dad had when I was on a farm a long time ago. Anyone done this? Or other solutions?

That's the one I meant. There's a pin that holds that bar in place. You may find that there are multiple holes in that drawbar that lets you pull it out farther than it is now and replace the pin. It may not be ideal, but that would likely do the job unless I am misunderstanding your problem.

The 3pt drawbar is what you really need and they are cheap at about $25. The little lockers are available too.

The Easy Mover advertised on the attachments page (with an associated thread) when combined with a 3pt drawbar will give you a standard trailer hitch box which has it's advantages too.
