John, I was in the Cortland (NY) store last week and it was 2 days to go there. They had taped off over half of the store and what was left was out on the floor and in shelves in the center of the store. I presume the doors are locked this week. I e-mailed TSC to put in my 2 cents for a store there. The reply said they'd list the stores they would be opening on their web site when the decision is made. There used to be one in Homer, just outside Cortland.

Maybe the sooner they get done with the old... in will come the new...

It was real sad... seeing it taped off and just about everything bare... I truly did love the ole Central Tractor-Farm & Family...

Yes, it is REALLY sad seeing my favorite store go out of business. I can only hope the TSC stores will be as good. Dare we hope that they'll be even better?

"If they had not priced everything in the store so much higher than the other stores in the neighborhood, and if they kept the things you could only get there on the shelves..."

I was in the Vestal, NY store this evening. There wasn't enough left on the shelves to make my trip worthwhile. I guess they are down to the last few days. Has anyone heard whether TSC will be opening in Vestal?
