When I had my initial 50 hour service done on my b2620, the dealer mechanic said they recommend changing the engine oil and filter every 100 hrs and the other filters as well. The manual says my next engine oil and filter, HST filter change is at 200 hrs. Then at 400 hrs it gets everything including hydraulic oil and filter. Who is right? I know dealers make their money on service and parts but I do want to keep the thing well maintained.

I have a B 2620. I'm going to change the engine oil and filter twice a year, after the initial service. That probably equates to 50 hours use. I'll follow the book when it comes to the HST fluid and filter changes. That is the routine I followed on a BX 2200 that I traded in with 1257 hours on it, with no problems.

Look up some threads in the oils forum, some recommend not changing the filter too frequently because the filters are designed to "clog" up a little, then filter smaller particles.
