I think a 3/4ton from any of the manufactures would've served me well. But I do really like this truck and for better or worse I am comfortable with Ford.
I have owned an '89, '92, and '96 F150 as well as the 2003 F250.

Your deal is right in line with what I was quoted for that same truck a couple months ago. The only exception was the truck I was interested in was white. Dealer wouldn't come down to $39k so I told him if you want me to pay $41 you're going to have to throw in a spray in liner and a set of steps. No dice to either of my offers so I walked. The truck is still sitting on the lot to this day.

He ordered an XL truck like mine. The camera looks just like factory. We hooked it up to aftermarket stereo with hands free system. It's a fairly straightforward install if you do the mirror replacement the hardest part is getting headliner down if you do a stereo it's really easy to hook up just plug it in but it does take a few hours with all the stuff you have to take apart and put back. Just take your time and save the beer for when your done.

Hey Luke, on another thread here there was a comment about the choice of "Auto" 4x4 or "Manual" 4x4. Switch on the dash or stick in the floor?? Are you given a choice if ordering a new Super Duty?? Thanks.

At this point you'd order a 2017 and so I don't know. I THINK you can onlt get a motorized transfer case.

What I have is ESOF with hubs that can either be auto locking or they can be manually locked if the auto lock system fails.

I just don't know about a manual shift transfer case.

I need some good advice on seat covers and building a Headache rack. I was thinking about asking here but then it occurred to me there might be a forum like TBN but geared toward trucks or Fords.

TBN is the only forum/online community I've ever participated in.

It's a F250...
Very happy with it but I'm still in the "I can't believe I have a new truck" phase. Have not done any serious towing yet. Seats aren't super comfortable yet but I think it will break in. Would really like a rear camera for bumper pull hookups.

As far as what you can order on a new SD, the XL and XLT come standard with manual, but above that is all ESOF. ESOF is optional on XLT.
