Any complaints after 10 months? Did you ever find the seat covers that were mentioned earlier? What brand steps did you get, and how so they mount? Dad is thinking that our pickup is a little tall for him. Ours is up to 2200 miles and some change now.

No complaints after 10mos and 5500miles. Still really impressed with the transmission management while towing. Recently drove about 100 miles to pick up 1200# in the bed and actually got better mpg on the way back (I always drive fairly consistently). Smaller load but representative.

The seat covers are neoprene from one of the cheaper makers. 'California something' I think. They fit well (except for the center console) and look fine.

I believe the steps are DeZee 3steps? I had them bedlined to slow corrosion and that makes for great traction. I'll get a picture later. The rails have hang-down steps which are not really big enough (far away from the tubular rail) for my boots to fit so I would buy or make differently in the future. The steps will go away as soon as my kids are big enough to get in without them. One solid flat step down the length of the cab would be most functional but I don't like the aesthetics.

I agree. We think that every time we use our truck. "How could we own something so nice?" is what we say.

Why the brand switch Coobie?? I've had both and liked both.
I had a company truck at the time when I owned the F250 put very little miles on it(13,000) just sat in my pole barn.I paid cash for the f250 when I bought it.Sold it about for close what I paid for it,I did add a Leer fiberglass cap.Bought a used 2006 F150 that I still have got a wild hair in my arse and bought the 2016 Ram.Love both brands of trucks.

If I could build my own like the big trucks I'd have a Super Duty with a Cummins and Allison. :)

You and me both!

When my ordered '17 shows up (it's been sitting in Wentzville for a week waiting for transport to my dealer), I will add some of my own 'feel good' pics for your enjoyment. :)

Anyone know how to get 12v key-on power to the trailer harness? Like to charge a trailer battery? (#4 spot on a 7wire.)

I had a f150 once where you had to add a fuse to "activate" it. The fuse (pos 90) is there and looks intact. (I have not tested it yet).

I don't mind saying. I think I got an OKAY deal so hopefully I don't get a bunch of wonderful posters telling me I should have done better.

MSRP is $46,995. Ended up at $41,000 (so 6k off). It's Plus this dealer gave me $2k more for my trade that two other dealers offered (from $2k to $4k) so there may be some more savings factored into that part?

More than twice what I ever sent for a vehicle for myself. Makes me want to throwup a little! Lol.

Damx...... I sure am old.
Will have my F-250 4x4 repainted this summer (done once before)
Bought it new in 1977.
Paid $5680...NEW!

Should be there and ready to go, nothing required other than key on, maybe engine running? Never had any issues with trucks at work, 2014, 15, 16 model year trucks.

Dang. I tried all key positions. Power to everything but the 12v "accessory" power.

I don't know the pin numbers, but looking at the truck end of the 7 pin (blade) connector, it should be the first pin clockwise from the notch at the top.

Was the motor actually running?
