"My vw diesel engines and most euro and other non-american oil bribed motor cars say 7500 -15K . Most american cars are at 3000 yet are capable of 10K mile drain intervals no problem with proper stuff."
What does the above statement mean? 3000 what? What is bribed mean? What constitues the "proper stuff"? If I understand what you are saying you are incorrect, most American cars also say 7500 miles for oil changes, yep, the three Fords I have owned said that in the manual and so does my wife's Jeep Liberty, my mother's Ford and just about every car I have owned or seen. The oil companies are not "bribing" anyone. The quick change industry does like the buisness however.
There always has to be a conspirocy does not there? Like I said once before, when I worked for a major oil company we all sat around laughing at you petroleum consumers about the secret formula that we stole from the guy in the 50's that turned water into gasoline for free. Yep, and we even had the formula for turning lead into gold, alchemy, perpetual motion, free energy--all sounds great--it is all of course a fantasy---right? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif J
