I don't know about the rest of you, but my Kubota always has a good battery (since I use it so much) and many of my other battery powered pieces of equipment and ATV's often have dead batteries.

I got tired of taking off the center panel on my Kubota BX to get to the battery to jump it so I canobalized some jumper cables with some quick connects and I can jump and dead item very quickly. I would recommend this to anyone who "jumps" a lot

That is a great idea. Where did you get your quick connects?

I have simlilar but used an old dryer outlet and dryer pigtail , and some old cables.. An extrac connector for yours and you could have an extension cord for other 12 volt uses.(portable lights)

I like the looks of that quick connect. It's not like the grainger one.

bx24, mind sharing where you picked up that quick connect? It looks like it has a weather cap too?

I have a set on most of my vehicles including my travel trailer so I can hook up additional house batterys for long stays with out 120v
or hook the other vehicle to the trailer to charge its battery,

As I recall, I got them online (here is one I just Google'd)

SB50 SB Series 50 Amp Anderson Powerpole Set - $4.02

I used "SB50 Anderson Power Products" connectors with the optional "T-handle" and dust cover

BTW - The black version of the plug is universal and the other colors only mate with their own color or black so what ever color you chose, you have to stick with it if you plan to use them for other applications
