The red head and myself are going to Raleigh next month (about 600 miles) and my youngest son is meeting us there from about 50 miles away. We are staying for several days at the Hilton. What are some must see things around Raleigh? I get bored easily just being around a motel and like to get around and see stuff/do stuff. Maybe Civil war sites/museum etc. Thanks for any tips! He's a chef at a fancy resort and they are full up with weddings/vacationers etc through part of Sept, or we would stay there. She wants to stay in Raleigh this time. Give me some ideas guys?
