Ready to pull the trigger on new L3800

I believe they carry Land Pride attachments. Was not sure if Kubota had there own box blade or not. I will call a dealer today and find out. I was wondering what a good size would be to pull with the 3800?

Your dealer should be able to advise you on a good fit for your needs as there are other things to consider such as weight, type of scarifer retraction, back edge and $$$. The manual will also have general guidelines.

There are several threads on here about selection and as in most things there is much debate/discussion. Land Pride makes good units as do others.

I bought a L3800 in Dec. I bought the cheaper box blade and spent a little extra on the Land Pride rotary cutter to get a slip clutch. I also had them add the Long third function valve into the financing. They seemed to have some flexibility. Overall the tractor has more power than weight but does great getting up and down the steep terrain I have. Hasn't missed a step.

I would think the L3800 could handle a 6' box blade very well.Good Luck!

Might check if the 3800 suffers from the jerky hitch that affects most of the L2800/L3400 crowd.

Mine is a great tractor but the jerky hitch is annoying when using a post hole digger or boom pole. Makes no difference when using the box blade or mower etc.
