Rear Hydraulics on a 2816 Mahindra

In the right picture, there is a port on the end plate that is plugged, but can not tell if it is PB.

A PB port will either have a small threaded hole for a hex screw or have an open for a PB adapter that will separate the galleries so the PB can exit the valve for downstream operations.

Are there any markings on that port?

Here is a Land Pride BH.

Look at page 11 and you will see that some BH have PB on the end of the valve.

The valve has a port on that end that has a hex plug in it. If that (which it appears to be the PB port) are parts available to make it a PB port?
Is the PB sleeve the same for this valve as others?

You have to know the manufacturers name and model number.

PB adapters are different and made for specific valves.

Is the letters PB stamped on the valve or BYD.

Thanks J.J.
I will review that BH valve closer when i get a chance. I hope i can find the PB parts for it.

It is really only a problem if the BH is a 3pt operated, but even that can be solved with the valve I posted.

People with 3pt log splitters can use my idea also. Position the log splitter using 3pt, then switch over to flow to log splitter.

Yes i understand that now. I would rather have all the hydraulics working if i can make it happen. I think the valve could be a Dinoil DN35

If iam looking at this correctly the BH has the return in T1 which is PB i think. It has some sort of adapter in T1 with the hose. Is it possible that the H is setup for PB and missing the tank return hose at T?

Both T and T1 can be used as the return/t until you want to use PB.

I believe the PB adapter will go in T1 and that will separate the galleries so tank line will only pass cyl flow out the T port

T1 will now pass the pump flow, Carry Over /PB flow downstream.

With the PB installed, and going to the 3pt IN port, you now have full BH and 3pt operation.

Look in T1 port and see if there is a small 1/4 threaded hole or a larger hole with a flat face ring.

It will look like one of these.

I think the little hex screw is about 1/4 in.

J.J.,
My friend made the decision to just purchase the selector valve and go that route to get the BH up and working. We ordered two selector valves and enough hoses to complete both his Kubota and my Mahindra so either of us can oerate the BH.

THANKS for your help!

If all else fails you can get kits for connecting up the backhoe and rear remotes for your tractor from Mahindra.

But you probably know that.

Powerscol,
Thanks for the info..
I am confident that the selector will work just fine, and for $150 including valve, hoses, and fittings it will cost a lot less. Will post the final result and how well it works

Parts came in, installed the selector valve and now we have the hoe working as it should and the tractor FEL works as it should. We select either the 3pt hitch or the loader.

The backhoe has an issue with one of the control valves ( bleeds off quickly) however everything else is working now.

Now how to fix the control valve.
