Rear Remotes - Planning stages, need advice

It would be nice if you could use some steel lines coming off of the QCs to eliminate the octopus.
Are you coming out of the QCs with a 90* fitting and then the hose.
You could alternate every other hose left and right.

HIJACK;)
Where can I get a steel tubing flaring tool that will put a JIC flare on the end of tubing.
Does the JIC flare need to be a double flare??
Id like to be able to make up my own steel lines.

Yes, I am coming off the QC, to a 90 swivel to the hose, just like you did yours. NO octopus here!!! I hate that!!!

I just got a quote at two local places for 3000PSI hose, 3/8" JIC Female Swivel ends on the following length hoses:

44" (2)
40" (2)
36"
37"
33"
25"
47" (2)
28" (2)

One quote was $561.82 and the other was $476.26  but I can pick them up in a couple hours.

I am now trying to see how much they will be from DHH and if much lower, I'll just wait on the shipping.

Would this hose be fine? I like that it has 2-1/2" min bend radius verses the 5" of the R2 hose.

SAE 100R16 2-Wire Hydraulic Hose

JJ I hadn't seen those, thanks for the heads up, that's some good prices for sure. However it's R2 hose and standard lengths. Unfortunately, the path I measured the hoses to be short and clean as possible in relation to where I've got the valve and QCs mounted, I need the R17 hose with its tighter bend radius and at the lengths I measured out. I could have probably remeasured and made longer ones work but I'm pretty particular about wanting things to work out "just right" and not just "good enough", like you couldn't tell with all the valve decision process haha

I've got a big project lined up that I need the tractor for, I've taken vacation days to do it and my Dad and uncle are coming up (2.5 hr) to help, so I've got a time crunch and needed to get the hoses ordered and on the way to me today.

Brian hooked me up and I should have the hoses end of this week.

I got the Kubota gray paint and extra Hyd fluid today. Got all the parts primed and painted tonight. TnT should be here tomorrow. Hopefully I can have it all buttoned up by Sat evening.

Looks like good prices from Brian on the hose. ($0.61 per inch including fittings and made to your length needs)

Yep, it was inline with DHH prices.

Speaking of Brian, I got the TnT today and put them on. Got all the painted parts put on and the joystick and lever adjusted and lubed. All the NPT fittings pipe dropped and installed. I copied from another members install and made a plate for the transmission ports and JB welded a NPT fitting on it so the return to tank just dumps right there by the valve. As long as it don't leak it'll make for a cleaner install. Now just need the hoses to arrive and test this sucker out!

Pulled some pics off my phone of what I did for the 3rd work section lever and the plate I copied from Steve. Each work section came with a standard control lever, so they were all extra parts since I'd ordered the joystick and enclosed handle options. I just cut those standard handles up to make the dog leg handle.

Also a couple pics of the TnT and QC plate installed. Last two pics is after all the parts were painted.
