Muhammad, as a new member of the tractor fraternity this is the place I go for unbiased, experienced advice re. that subject. While my vote isn't needed, I think your's is a wise decision.

Or perhaps the moderators have been very busy making sure it stays that way.

That explains it.

Here I was thinking Mohammed was getting snowed under with complaints about the subject matter. But it was the uncouth doing what they do best.

Now I have a question for the good folks in management here.

Would it be okay to jump into some ethics kinds of discussions?

You stop and figure that we've got the religious and political orifices plugged real tight so an ethics discussion should just involve those who can carry a discussion without them.

Mostly I've got this business ethics thing that's just bothering me something fierce.

So a little feed back please.

IMO ethics are best discussed face to face over a beer, not on the turf of our host, who has made his feelings on the matter very plain.

On a related topic, I've been skidding logs home from the forest and am absolutely amazed at the mud my aggies are able to pull me -- and a pair of 30' hardwood logs -- through! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif It's one of those "I made the right tire choice" moments. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

As a reader for almost 4 years I can say that arguments over religious beliefs (ie: whose invisible friend is the best) tend to push people apart. Having a common interest in tractors and related machinery draws diverse groups together, which is more beneficial, IMO, in our risky world.

BHaebe expressed my sentiments exactly.

I have moderated several other forums myself, and know from experience how difficult the job can be .... both in the sheer demands on one's time, as well as the gutwrenching nature of decisions such as these. The moderators here have been superb, and it shows in the overall quality of this site. These guys have my support.
