I'm also in northern PA. Taking them off now would be tempting fate. Snow on top of mud is the worst to deal with and chains are a must for me. I usually leave mine on until April 1st.

Took both my blower and my front blade off and the front chains as well (only run them on the front). Goo is no issue here, I run only ag tires

Not yet. Plowed yesterday morning then again this morning. 5 to 10 below tonight. Plenty of winter left here.

The boss's pods with stay on for another month or more. Of course we get more snow than you folks get.

While I don't use tractor (yet) for snow removal, I'll keep chains on until mud season over, whenever that is...
Hoping to build a lean to off of garage for tractor. Then I might use loader for snow removal. Driveway only 100' or so, doublewide. Issue is the snow blows accross driveway from acres of open fields. The 4" we got this morning was over a foot on half the driveway. But we've only had powder this year, so no biggie...

Yeah. March is not spring in northern New England. Neither is April, maybe May if we're lucky.
I plowed this morning, got 6+" in the last couple days. Chains are staying on for a while.

Chains and blower wont come off till may. We probably have a few more feet of snow on tap here in the central UP
