removing wood shavings from a attic

I would use a good shop vac to remove the shavings.
You could put the vac outside and run PVC pipe w/fittings just stuck together and then the hose for the pickup.
For a big removal you could put a 55 gal collection barrel before the vac for more volume.

Above ground swimming pool vacuum hoses work great, too and are relatively cheap. Also, were dust filters because of mouse poo.
