The tag on the end piece where the inlet and outlet are reads model number 40 L0 20, and it is Gresen. I'll try to call Barko tomorrow and see if they know, but like you said, JJ, it might be reliefed that low for safety reasons on that particular application. It's a roof mounted loader, so they might not want too much strain on it. I'm suspicious that the main lift relief has been adjusted up, because nothing stops it.

Just thinking, would there be anything wrong with putting an inline relief valve just before the valve bank, and setting it at 1000. I'm guessing that would make all the valves relieve at 1000. Right, or not?

I never seen a closed center spool valve such as quietrangr requires for his 440C that has float option with 3 ports. Are they available?

What is contained in a "float kit"? I was thinking a hyd spool valve with float that the spool had different landings machined it spool vs a non float valve.

A float kit for a spool valve is added on to the bottom of the spool.

If no float valve is attached to the spool, all you have on the bottom of the spool is the centering springs.
