Someone at a local Agway told me about an "awesome rock bucket/rake that you must have". Sad thing I can't remember the name. It was something like Dehlinger, Behlinger, Dinglemeir...etc. Can anyone help at all? I've done web searches but no luck. Apparently it goes on in place of the bucket, or can attach to your bucket (?) and he said it's awesome. I was standing at a counter and he offered the advice after overhearing my conversation. Now I forget. Thanks and sorry.

I think Degelman makes a rock bucket, there a number of other companies that make them also. If you are planning to use on a compact tractor with a skid steer quick coupler, note that most of the skid steer models have long forks in the 38-45" range that may exceed the lift capacity of your tractor, due to the distance they extend out.

We used a set on our DX45 to dig out 22 truckloads of unilock paver blocks at a hotel that is being torn down. We broke them loose with pallet forks, then sifted through the sand to pick them up and load into our 1 ton dump.

Bob Wolff from Woodbury Tractor in CT is working on getting a rock fork bucket built specifically for compact tractors. You may want to contact him at 203 266 4845.

Another company that sells forks is Fabrication S Houle at
www.fabshoule.com. They also sell a mean looking rock rake, which looks like a super heavy duty version of the ATI preseeder, which we have and works well.

I was thinking about buying one from www.virnigmfg.com. They make a 54" for a CUT that is about $755 with $150 shipping (Left Coast). They look nice..and the price seems pretty reasonable. I haven't found any postings on this site about this manufacturer though.

Virnig is a good local company, well engineered products.

I happened to buy my rock bucket/grapple from another local company http://www.midsotamfg.com/
