MtnViewRanch- The 60" was what I was originally looking into, but the info I gathered from those older threads seemed to favor the narrower units for avoiding side torque. Which makes sense.
And what's up in Denton? They've got 2 fabricator's there? You can about miss the place if ya don't get stopped at THE stop light.

k0ua- Anything's better than gettin jabbed and scratched up tryin to 'rassle that brush by hand! :D
Not to mention the occasional eye poke even with wrapped sunglasses on. d:^) Schneeks..

View attachment 379395I did a considerable amount of research before I bought the Land Pride SGC1560 grapple. I place a lot of value on having a local dealer so I can observe & touch any implement. And being local, if I have questions or difficulties. This LP is a heavy grapple - 820# - but still leaves me 3400# of available capacity. It is heavier than you want but it is a good example of the quality of the welds, the engineered design and materials used by Land Pride. I've found all to be top quality, making this a very substantial implement.

. What is the actual lift capacity?

I'm getting my info from the tables/graphs for my Kubota LA1153 on the M6040. I did some measurements on the grapple after it was installed and the center of the grapple is approximately 12 inches forward of the pivot pin. Based upon these graphs the max lift capacity - 12 inches forward of the pivot pin is approximately 4250#.

The lift capacity at the pivot pin is approximately 5200#.

What I wish they would have is a graph showing how much weight needs to be on the 3pt as the lifted weight on the FEL increases.

Oh, well, I've found that I have enough in the Rimguard filled tires and the 720# ROBB to safely lift 1500# with the new grapple. Anything greater than that will be exceedingly rare and I do have a 400# block of cement I can add on top of the ROBB.

Not sure who you were addressing. But according to the Mahindra site:
3pt lift=2646#
ML115 FEL=1650#
Breakout=2650#

Not sure where the FEL measurement is from, but I believe it's at full height.

Called EA this morning, now they're saying 4 weeks out on new orders.

They can't be nice enough if they aren't available. And it's been my experience that mfg's have a tendency to run into delays once you're committed. Got work for a set of pallet forks I'd just as soon not wait a month to get started, either. Between wait time, added expense and having to pay taxes on it cause they're in state, the EA offering is looking a bit less attractive.

Will hafta consider other options. What else gets the job done out there?

Oosik- Didn't see a smaller root grapple at the Landpride site. d:^) Schneeks..

Please put a link to your graph. Here are the M6060 specs.

They said they'd do it for the $1395 out-the-door. Basically they'd eat the taxes. $98. :greedy:

It'd cost $150ish to drive there and back. 5.5 hrs one way. Hmmm. :scratchchin:

Only about $100 fuel round trip to Denton. 3hrs one way. $500 less. In stock. I dunno, man.

Might hafta spend a l'il more time tweakin'em at the dealerships and researchin'. d:^) Schneeks..

Schneeky - On the Land Pride site - look in the skid steer area - SGC10, series 10, 62 inches wide, 378 pounds.

Brian - there are no links to the graphs. They are in the Kubota Front Loader, Model LA1153, Operator's Manual.
