I'm missing the "My Profile" point on the menu. I often use that to review what I posted recently. When I click on the "gear" (Advanced Search) the page it sends me to has the old upper menu format.

I have tested the new design and like the clear B&W format seems cleaner - these screen shots are all in the new design, I haven't tested the "old design" yet

- When loading some threads with new look cleat type all performs fine - no half pages
- But doesn't take you to the last thread read
- Loading older threads still gets half page view - when the pages don't have the new clear type format
- Loading the one older DK50 smoking diesel thread was able to go thru all 11 pages no issues all pages had same new clear type format
- Pictures load fast

- It Christmas Muhammad - take a break!

Doing the similar thread review in the old design.

- Threads don't go to last read
- Banner ads on the right slow to load and when they do they make the view half page
- The blue smoke diesel thread in old type format loaded properly the other threads did not (like this one)
- When they are trying to load can see the full screen (for few minutes or more)
- Most pages display in half screen once the banner ads load

We may have to redo the theme to get it fixed. That may take a little bit. Sorry about that.

As for the Android App, I'm going to look at it soon, and try to make a fix. Sorry for the delay!

There wasn't much change, mind you. So old bugs will still be there. The email notifications are strange. I still receive notices to these replies. Do you receive ANY emails? Are they delayed?

With the new theme, the number of posts that used to be listed when selecting "new posts" is
missing. I found that quite useful. Can you add that back to the new theme layout?

Hold the press on the My Profile problem, I found if I click on where it says "Welcome newbury" (underneath the gear) it brings up my profile

But search is more broken than ever, I tried to search on a couple of user names, one at a time, in a 300+ post thread and no results even though I knew they (including me) had posts in the thread.

Also on the main screen I miss the little green spot which showed that I had already posted to that thread.

And calling up a previously used image is light speed quicker! I used to open up the Manage Attachments window first thing and it might take an hour to load, but I would do other things. Now it's like light speed.

Here are a few screen shots - I am on Win 8 IE 11, and it doesn't happen all the time only when loading older pages it seems as newer ones posted in the last day load properly.

Also sometime refresh of the page works and sometimes it doesn't. I suspect its the loading of the right side banner ads, or as you will see the time appears on the right side blank area.

Also when in reply mode it stretches to the full page width.

My screen looks like yours all the time. I have been getting half screens for a long while. Have said something and it gets fixed for a day or two then right back. I have though about just stay off tby, but come back until I get pi##ed. How do you take a screen shot and post it?

I do ALT-Print Screen, drop it into MS paint, usually crop it and annotate it, save it then upload it. To TBN.

Hello!

If you're reading this, you're on the new server which will house TBN for a good number of years in the future! We didn't change hosts or anything, just got some new hardware and software upgrades. We ran through clicking as many things as we could, and there are always a few bugs that we don't catch. If you spot anything (uploads not working? Replies being weird? Emails not coming?) Post here and let me know.

The day of the upgrade they were severely delayed. Like hours after I read the post. Now they are non existent. I don't get any emails for any threads.

I have most of my thread notifications set to Daily, so didn't notice the delay, but same applies - I'm getting no thread email notifications at all now.

Yep, I read your post and it helped because I went looking for "Welcome Xfaxman", since it is not at the top, where it used to be.

The only place that I see "Welcome Xfaxman", is on the Forums home page. And clicking it does take me to where I need to see previous posts that I am looking for.

If you were still seeing the "Server Temporarily Down" somehow you were still accessing the old server.

Definitely a case of clearing your cache and reloading TBN. If it still happens, it might be your ISP is pulling down the old IP. But almost all ISPs should have refreshed their listings after 24 hours. It's now been 72 hours and DEFINITELY should be refreshed. (The fact that you're posting on the new server shows it's working. But might still have some lingering issue with the IP.)

The theme design might need some tweaking now.

I'm continuing to look for the email settings.
