That thunderchicken was probably fine, but the rear coils are pretty wimpy... Assuming it's a similar drivetrain to the '92 Lincoln I had for a short time it'd have a 28 spline 8.8" axle with possibly rear discs.

That's way too far forward on the trailer though, holy cow, looks like a 1.25" to 2" receiver converter so that's definitely sketchy...

That red Fury looks like it has a do not touch sign on the dash. Must have been heading to or from a show. Also I see a strap hook just dangling on front driver side of trailer. Jon

My best friend had a blue one like that back in the day. Early 70s. His mom had a blue wagon the same year. Both were 66s. Both had 383s. I had a 69 Charger special edition RT. The only version to come with a chrome luggage rack on the trunk. It had the 440 six pack. What a pain it was to keep that running right.

Yup, those luggage racks were finicky!

Not as finicky as the 3 carburetors. The luggage rack was added on only the 69 special edition RT. Both options included the center console and the upgraded instruments. The clock with the tachometer around the outside of it. The luggage rack was to offset that. It was never available through parts. There were very few of them.
