Why would someone do this? Hitches are not all that expensive. That looks like it would take lots of work.

He may not even have a trailer. It might be to get guys doing what we are doing. I would do that. He hasn't towed with it. It wouldn't make it 10 feet with any trailer that has a large coupler on it. That split wood would fail.
