That's not gonna buff out!

Ha

I'm guessing had too much weight on the rear of that trailer and made his rear end light.

I have lost a lot of things out of the back of my truck over the years... finally learned that saying "ol it ain't going anywhere", doesn't mean it ain't if you don't strap it down good.

If one got in a little deeper on the water landing one would be in deep soup

Encountered this today in Iowa.

Had that happen to us once. Wife hit some black ice and the back end swung out at 55mph. Truck swung left and then right playing crack the whip as the trailer swung through the ditch. The trailer tire hooked and flipped the trailer. The coupler split open like a tomato as the trailer twisted on the ball. The trailer made a full 360 rotation and parted the chains when they bound up. Once free of the trailer she was able to drive the truck back onto the shoulder. Both sleds had broken free when the ski tie downs folded up. The rear bumper on her sled got ripped off, but the heavy duty bumper on mine held. The trailer was a total loss as one of the snowmobiles had passed right through the trailer side. We rolled both sleds out of the trailer and found a dealer that made some quickie repairs. The tow company cut the clamshell lid off and I replaced the coupler and chains. After spending a couple of hours completing repairs we were able to continue on our trip.

I saw this one back in the spring. Guy had a fairly new F350 dually, new 25' Gooseneck, nice John Deere tractor, but a $3 rachet strap holding it all together.

Most farmers in these parts dont even bother with the strap...Set the park brake and truck on. Few years ago a guy had steel tracks on his skid steer unstrapped on a frozen trailer deck. Guess what; it ended up laying in the middle of the highway in town. Dumbass

Is he using 4 parking spots so he has allowed for a collapse zone around him?

And nearly no tiedowns at all. When a little wind gets under that tarp it will pull the pallets off and the whole mess will let go.

Seen plenty, most of the time they left their junk or made a trailer park express train using a few friends vehicles.

Just funnin ya. :p

I'm sure glad I don't own any rentals any more. That photo reminded me of Rule 1: never allow a tenant sub-let to someone.
