So, we think a person standing on the 3 pt is safe?

It's not like he is going to be going down the highway at 70= MPH.

Yes, I would say it could be done safely.

If God didn't want us to stand on a 3 Point hitch, he would not have made them so convenient to do so!

That photo shows a poor choice. I mean, who among us doesn't have a 300+ lb friend?

Not like he’s riding on a 1-7/8” wide drawbar going in top gear down a washboarded dirt road....with 5 tons of hay wagon being towed to run him over if he falls off.

Lot safer than a garbage truck rider.

In this case, it looks like he's standing on a rack of suitcase weights that is mounted on the 3 point quick hitch.

I can't believe no one has called out the lack of seatbelt. What's the point of having rops if your not going to buckle up, takes 2 seconds to do.

Something to hold onto for the 3pt ballast rider...

I think I may have used my seat belt half a dozen times, when I felt in possible danger in twenty or so years. I often stand up and it's just not something I care to do.

Geez, could they make those wheels any smaller?

I could see ripping off the corner of that roof with that ROPS.

Around these parts we call that survivor bias, if I recall my statistics right ROPs minus seatbelt is more dangerous due the increased chance of getting pinned in a rollover.

Some day I may have a heart attack while making love..... does that worry stop me from doing what I love??

You just need common sense and some inteligence helps too. Unfortunately, many people don't have either. We have ponds on the property and it's a good a place as any to upset the tractor. I wouldn't want to be wearing a seatbelt if the machine ends up in the water.

Also a large hill that divides the property. If I ever lost control of my speed for whatever reason, I'm athletic and nimble enough, that I'm going to bail out.

If you go outside you run the risk of getting struck by lightning, if you stay inside, you run the risk of burning to death in a house fire.
Best thing is to just not wake up in the morning.

Part of the issue with people not wearing their seat belts is due to the seat belt design. Some of the belts after connecting to the release have a locking type ratchet that locks the belt from extending. The problem is when you are driving on rough terrain every time the seat bounces the belt takes up the slack created and then locks there. So basically the seat belt will try to cut you in two when the spring tension of the seat springs fights against the locked seat belt.
