Yes you could easily take these 4' deflectors off the old lights and screw them to the 8' lights. But I decided it's better without them. Since the light is able to go sideways too, it now lights up all corers & walls of the barn. Much better than before were I had good lite pretty much below the light source. So this time I'll take the good with the bad.
I checked the wattage and they are 110 watt bulbs and not 90w in my setup. Which explains why one eight footer is so much brighter than two of the previous 40w four footers.
