Should I file a claim with KTAC after dropping a log on the hood of my BX2370?

If you finance via Kubota Finance you have to buy the insurance. Ron

Many dealers do say this. If they don't have a healthy base of commercial customers saying that KTAC is required is mostly accurate. Homeowners does not work.

KTAC does pay transport up to a point, there is a limit. Unless its some hours long drive its likely the dealer will cover the cost.

i lost a engine, plus needed some body work done.
the tractor lost a engine oil drain plug..
body damage due to some rough use while clearing damaged trees due to a wildfire.
kubota claims, approved the repairs to my tractor. they did make the repairs into two claims. requiring the payment of two deductibles.

You can use your own non-KTAC when financing. I'm not sure I've heard of anybody finding a better deal though. When I looked premiums & deductibles were higher, less coverage & the killer was no off property coverage. I went KTAC, never heard any real bad stuff about em other than jacking up premiums down the road (which still ends up being competitive to the competition).

Just a follow up. My tractor is still with Kent Equipment in Sparta and they should be ordering parts. I wish the repairs went fast but Thanksgiving set me back a week with them.
