I have an old side delivery rake. Last season the tire on the right side (looking at from the rear) went flat and i was not able to inflate because it lost the seal to the rim. I was able to get it off and have a tube put in, still looks great. This season however the other tire is flat, same situation, it has lost the seal to the rim so i can't pump it up.

What is the trick in getting that side off. it has the universal joint on the outside that leads to the clutch box.
 please help.

How about a drift/roll pin through the wheel axle part of the coupling? Something has to hold the yoke onto the axle shaft. Doesn't help you but on later models there is a spring loaded coupling there and just like undoing a PTO shaft you push the button and pull it off. Clean the grease and dirt off it and look for the hole in the casting then drive it out.

There is a spring loaded pins, just like on any PTO, i did not look for a roll pin to bang, but will, i hope i see one.
Thanks for the help.
