Skid steer guys & everyone, need some input

I currently own a lawn care company that I run part time (FT firefighter). I've got a chance to buy a New Holland LS180 for a STEAL.

Now, I'd like to purchase this and expand, etc.

What are some ways to advertise this to get business short of word of mouth, business cards, etc? Initially I'll only have the bucket and forks, but would like to eventually get a trencher, harley rake, and possibly auger. Not sure if I should stick strictly to landscape related stuff, or if advertising to do generally anything for builders, homeowners, etc would be worth it.

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.

What is the question??

Ad in the local paper, yellow pages, cold calls, a plane with a sign behind it..

I don't think there is a magical answer, just the obvious ways to advertise. Get your foot in the door somewhere, do good work and the word will get around...slowly, but that's how you build a solid base of customers.
