I have S-K Tools interchangeable tip type and a Channelock interchangeable type as well. The SKs will go into smaller places. A good set of tips will let you do small to medium rings fine, but since the tips are based on 3/32 allen wrench stock they will flex some when applied to bigger stronger rings. Those are what you need the dedicated pliers for. A good replaceble tip type will do everything else and you only have to buy them once. Good quality tips are cheap and come in all sizes.
