You make a great point... and almost verbatim what I heard from a Tesla owner...
I'm not advocating what type of vehicle you buy, just don't miss represent what EV's are and ask for something special based on that untruth, spewing how much you are benefitting us all and saving the world from my choices. If it was just, yeah, I want an electric car that's fine with me, but that's not what's going on here! HS

Primary use of vehicle is to transport one or two people. Doesn't require 5000 lb vehicle with 300 HP....that's a choice!

Tesla Model "S". 4,647 LB, 416hp....

unobjective, biased article.

Real unbiased article there...

Tesla, always trying to look hip, should at least have the common decency to come up with an untaken word for their new quick battery charging stations.
"supercharger" is already in the record books for years and years, as an air compressor for combustion engines. No doubt, this is a conscious decision on their part in the web of battery car, deceiving advertising campaigns. Not for one minute do I believe they have mistakenly used a word that already means something totally different.

While I have no reason to doubt your accusation of bias, honest question-can you point out what was factually wrong about the article?

Do the charging stations not exist?
Are they not free for Tesla S purchasers?
Is it not Tesla's intent to overcome "range anxiety?"
Did they not meet with Nissan and BMW to discuss expansion of the charging network with their investment?

Where can we go to get the correction to facts contained within the article?

Thanks.

I'm convinced, nor will I ever make a claim on saving the planet, I only care to save $$$, something 80% of the users are also likely doing as we are constantly squeezed by big oil.. and by the way..its not save the planet, its pave the planet!

What's wrong with big oil? They have always produced a great product at a far price, I can fill up anywhere anytime and it works. I don't trust anyone else to provide MY fuel. I like big oil, big oil is Americans. Big oil good, big government bad. HS

As for the Tesla cars there is more and more info coming out that they are not all that great. Besides the first person to die in one was a thief who stole it from the dealer this past week.

here is article on Tesla and Warranty issues they are seeing. Very informative written on SA (stock sight) warning people who own stock in Tesla.

Tesla May Have A Huge Unfunded Warranty Problem Due To Defective Drivetrains - Tesla Motors (NASDAQ:TSLA) | Seeking Alpha

The article also talks about the SuperCarging stations how the chargers burn out the batteries quicker causing need to replace the battery sooner. The post about Grid controlling WHEN the car can charge should really note that it will also cause battery degradation as starting and stopping charge when battery is not 100% will shorten its lifespan causes more boiling of the base material as a low battery burns more when trying to keep going.

The most sold vehicle in USA is an Ford F series truck. Yeah, I like choice, not someone like "you" deciding what I can buy, in the end it always comes out with your types. None of your business what I require, and deciding primary use for me. HS

That is not what I said. I showed data that indicated your premise was false...again. Read the last 3 words..."It's a choice" not unlike the choice to buy an EV and they all benefit from a variety of subsidies and hidden costs.

For those who have faith in the "97% of climate scientists believe global warming..." I suggest you consider this:
Global warming is not settled science: Guest opinion | OregonLive.com
Points out that there is a big difference between "basic science" and "consensus science" and that the consensus has often been wrong--which gets the deniers Nobel prizes. Real science, basic science, welcomes those who question things because they force weaknesses to be tested, if the hypothesis is then verified it strengthens the argument. Consensus "science" attacks those who question the hypothesis because their belief can not be tested and proven so they can only argue based on faith. In the case of climate science, they rely heavily on models and can't test their hypotheses. We'll only know for sure in a few decades.

I wished I could find the article. There was a liberal politician recently who was shamed and shunned by his party for privately attending. A meeting that questioned global warming.
