One of the only places in our area with truck and trailer parking is TSC. They have about 6 truck with trailer spots.

Compared to Lowes which has Zero and if you park in the semi loading area it always seems a 18yr old on a fork truck will drive over and tell you to park some were else

They may not have any parking spaces specifically marked for big vehicles, trailers, etc., but I cannot think of a single time that parking lots at Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Home Depot, Lowe's, Kroger's, Albertson's, and I guess any other large store, mall, or shopping center didn't have plenty of extra parking spaces if you didn't mind walking a little bit. The only exception to that, that I've personally seen, was Walmart on Black Friday. And since I had no intention of going in there that day, it didn't bother me.

And of course I'm talking about this area; it may be different in other places.

Yep, the same reason you will see a car circle the lot 3 times, pass 100 empty spots and then sit and idle until a close spot comes up. Many people are lazy and care only about themselves. I personally park any of my cars a good distance away, there is less chances of dings and it is easier to pull out.

The big thing around here lately seems to be getting the mail out of your roadside box without exiting your vehicle. People will pull up (facing oncoming traffic), stop in the road and then reach out to get their mail from the car window. Really? You are so effin lazy that you can't pull into your driveway and walk 4 steps to your mailbox?

but one thing that annoys me is the people who park in the aisle, blocking traffic, while waiting and hoping someone will leave and they can get a close spot.
Even worse to me are the peeps that follow you to your car and wait for you to pull out, then start honking their horn if you don't move soon enough for THEM.

I was at Lowes, about 2pm last Wednesday, a fairly empty parking lot. I loaded my car, got in, turned on the car and the A/C and called SWMBO. The "follower" started laying on their horn. They couldn't go 3 parking spaces down. I almost got out and asked them what the problem was.

I have a F-350 diesel, four door, four wheel drive with a 8 foot bed, bought it new in 2003.. I never have a problem finding a parking space at any of the major dept. stores.. I do use two spaces,, because if I park in just one them my back end sticks out in the lane.. I do like to park as far away as possible.. mostly in the same area of every parking lot.. so I will know where it at when I come out.:). Lou

I was referring to the disposable throw away econobox cars. Which is another reason i prefer full-size trucks, built better, last longer, and are safer to drive .

I parked way out in the Suburban when goin to malls, Home Depot, Lowes and most eating joints due to the size (length mostly). Anyone beside you can't see what's coming when backing out. I hate door dings also. The Wrangler is another ball game. Will park it anywhere. Curb climbing is not out of the equation either when someone can't park their Prius straight and eats up the coveted 1st spot in a parking lot.

add a lack of situational awareness to a good dose of basic cluelessness and that seems to describe many parkers today.
So many people have a "me first" attitude.
Luckily the spaces at our local Acme aren't bad, and I can wheel the suburban in ok, though often it takes a correcting back up to get it lined up.
thank goodness for back up cameras...

my wife's new car had a ding in it the first week, likely the first time she went into the shopping center. If she uses the handicapped spots, it's usually ok, because they are wider. Could have been a shopping cart also. Now there's another story. If one is able to push the cart all the way around the store and out to one's car, why can't you push it to the return station? I know, you just had to return that text right away...

It really is silly to park a dually in close in a parking lot, just asking for trouble of others hitting you or dinging your doors. Of course if you can find an end parking spot or something big enough, it shouldn't matter. Not like you are trying to park an F550 dump there...

Made sure it was diesel, got the bigger than legal (in some areas) tires and wheels, jazzed it up with every accessory possible to make it even bigger! Money is no object.
So tell me DUDE, WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PARK IT IN THE NORMAL SIZE PARKING SPACES????
There is plenty of room out in the middle of the lot.

Why, because I like to show off my awesomeness.
