I'm sorry, I'm not swapping my tractor's fluids with some stranger's implements, you don't know where they've been! Personally, I practice safe tractoring.
How do you keep dirt out of the connections?

The caps or plugs are nice when they are clean, but after working they are usually filthy. Then my go to is pieces of paper towels stoved in the female connectors. When it's time to connect, pull out the paper towels and a quick rinse with WD or brake cleaner and then a shot to the male connectors and good swipe with a towel, ready to go.I just installed remote hydraulic outlets and haven't had any prior experience with using them.

pretty small amount of fluid. I wouldn't be concerned just so long as you know the lines are not full of something awful like 20 year old rusty gunk.Would there be any concerns about cross contamination of hydraulic fluids
