I'm looking at purchasing a used Laurin cab off a 1998 L3300 to go on my L3710 HST. I contacted Laurin Cabs directly, and they would not tell me if it would physically fit my tractor, saying that because the cab is ROPS certified, they could only recommend putting it on the model it was specifically designed for. Does anyone have experience with Laurin cabs and these two models of tractors? I haven't seen the cab in person yet (only pictures) since it is a couple hours away. The body panels on these two model tractors appear to be the same from different pictures I have looked at. The only issue may be the ROPS and how it attaches to the tractor. My ROPS is fold down, however there seems to also be solid ROPS for my tractor model also. I would assume, since the cab is ROPS certified, that I would have to remove my ROPS and replace with the cab. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is quite a bit of difference with the chassis's of the two. I'd say it wouldn't work or it would be quite a bit of work in excess of ten hours with an experienced fabricator to get it to fit.

Thanks. I did a little more research, and got some parts schematics from Messicks. The ROPS attachment points are different. I also spoke with the seller a little more on it, and he said that the ROPS is completely removed, and separate "legs" are bolted on in place of the ROPS. The cab then bolts to these legs. If the body styles are the same, the cab should fit on the body, and all I would have to do is fabricate the legs, which shouldn't be too bad. He's asking $1500, which seems reasonable, since I believe these were $6-7k new. Includes heat, wipers, front/rear lights, full glass doors. I may trailer my tractor to the cab, and set it on to see if it will fit. I've been looking for awhile for a used one, and they seem few and far between. New ones are quite pricey, even for the cheaper soft sided units.
