Swisher - Good / Bad ?

I've had the 66in finish about 6 or 7 years now. I mow around my field with it, some fairly steep sidehills and mow around the neighbor's pond. With my 570 midsize ranger. Offsetting it gets close to the pond, fairly step sidehill too. the utv is MUCH easier then the atv. and more stable. Check mowers direct. com, they've got the roughcuts too, and free shipping.

you must be keen to Methuselah:laughing:
i own one but do not use it cause i don't need it at the time but i imagin someday i will need it:confused3::dance1:
They do fine. I service one every once and a while and none I see are either kept inside or meticulously cared for. A hundred years ago I worked at dealer that sold some of their stuff. At that time they seemed like they wanted to help if you needed to get a hold of them.

The one is on sale for $1,800 instead of $2,200 or so.

I won't be mowing close to the water. It's a natural ravine so I'm just getting within 30 feet at best. It's a farm pond, not a golf course.

Just can't convince myself to drop that kind of coin on something with generally mixed reviews and not having seen one.

what i like about mine is offsettig and mowing under trees and bushes without getting knocked off my mower:shocked: and it cuts down on the mowing time if you have big yards!!:hissyfit:
