Sorry you are having speed problems. Usually you can see if it is TBN (or something else) simply by looking at the speed number at the bottom of the page -- "Generated in 0.604 seconds in which 0.543 seconds were spent on a total of 21 queries…"
We have checked the site several times today, and just a couple of people were having slowdowns. If our servers were at fault, we would know that from various system monitors that track loads and response times.
There can be so many things that slow down web access intermittently, and in different times of the day, or parts of the country.
It may be a caching issue with your web provider, or a router issue, or a “worm” loose on the whole net, etc., etc., etc.
You would need to do a trace route to the tractorbynet.com web site. The tools that do that will show you all of the links along the way (usually 10-30 different "stops" or links). You can see packet loss or slow response times.
Also there is a web site called "
Internet Traffic Report." Click on the icon for "N America". There is a lot of interesting info on all of the main backbone providers, and their various response times and alerts for any problems.
We do continuously monitor the operations and response of all of our sites. We appreciate your reports, but in this case, with only 2 or 3 people having a problem out of more than 700 who access each day, our conclusion must be that it is a local problem with your PC, or your local provider, or some response issues on a node being used by your provider.
