Yeah! I am sure that would make some people stand up and take notice very quickly!

Reminds me of my grandfather. The NH state Senate or House had said there were no rattle snakes in the State. Anyway, long story short he went out, collected a bag full of snacks and dumped them out in the middle of of State house floor. Got their attention. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

if you have turf tires they will cease to steer under a load.

HEHE LOL no its still home good idea but it prob. would not help in the end . I have learned a few good lessons in this the most important is no matter how good of a customer you are to your independent dealer or how good your dealer is to you.Thay can only go so far with out help from New Holland. New Holland them selves don't care a direct quote from New Holland Sales rep" go buy a orange one or a green one I' am not buying it back for this problem" . I never asked him to just get it fixed . PS ironhsmn I do not have turf tires on it i thanks for all the help and ideas

Still Not Fixed ? NH is helping out ?

I dont know what angle whom you have persued thus far. But obviously not the right people or appraoch (not that I am trying to say you arent doinng it right).

This problem needs to stay at the top of the board! until you get it fixed. Weekly updates on this board.

If NH will not take care of the problem then you dont need to be nice at all about the quality product they have supplied you. People come here to review tractors and independent customer satisfaction. Yours is the very thing I would want to see.

Keep this post alive and on top.

Forget dealing with the NH sales side of the company. Weasle your way into their marketing division, and the upper management. When you find a person that cares, the issue can be resolved. If it isnt, just keep the bashing going here. And if they dont care then spread it......

I noticed a similar situation with my 55da the other day. I have 55 hours on my DA, and I would say 40 hours is loader work. I have moved over 65 logs from 18" diameter 16' long to 48" diameter 6' long. I have maxed the front end out many times. I can tell you this tractor should steer with out a hitch under those conditions. I had it freeze up twice, I jiggled it(the controls steering weel, throttle, bucket angle) and the steering was back to normal with the same load.

CNH needs to care and take notice. This thread needs to stay at the top of this forum. You need to post an update once a week to keep this thread awake.

I care, I want to own a Blue tractor and recommned it to others. But when you have battery problems, and steering problems, it's starting to take on a Ford or Dodge name (hehehe sorry GMC family).

Seriously, keeps us updated once a week.
Best of luck to you.

BTW, I love my 55da, but I do have some complaints. When I have time some day soon I will post pics of my problems to see if others have thoughts on how to remedy.

That is the real hard part for me I love mine too but can not stand the steering problem knowing full well that if CNH took some time thay could fix this and have a real nice tractor 2nd to t for many years and thay then would be at the top of the list
