telescoping links for B7800

Have you thought about a slightly used B2910? It seems to me you'll have the best of everything with that. All the bells & whistles (including a foot operated clutch), and being used, it'll probably be cheaper than the B7800.

Having physical aches and pains, don't underestimate the value of the suspension seat and tilting steering wheel.

My B2910 is almost 6 years old and I only have 183 hours on it. Unfortunately for you, I don't plan on ever selling it, but there are probably others like me ready to upgrade. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I noticed that Aldermans offers a b7800/b2910 conversion kit in their "other B series options" section, so perhaps you would want to consider that. It is also interesting to note that the B7510DTN row crop model does have position control. I wonder if that could be added to the B7510 /B7610 series? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm not sure which side of this issue you are on??? I'm new in this hunt for the "perfect" tractor so bear with my ignorance. But the difference between the 7800 and the 3030 is deeper than just a clutch PTO and extendable links. I'm with Toolguy, tilt wheel, extendable links, pinned sway bars, position control 3PH, lever speed control (which frees your right foot for brake pedal duty) all are worth the difference in price twice over. I never hear anyone on here asking about adapting a 7800 feature onto a 3030. Hmmmmmmm.
If I use my purchased machine for 1800 hours which is not unrealistic, and the difference in price of the two machines is $1800, wouldn't that be $1 per hour to have these features??? I will use my 3PH on equipment that requires delicate control. I'll also share this machine with my 5'2" wife. I'll also use my foot brakes. I'll also hook and unhook 3PH equipment many, many times over the next several years. The difference in cost becomes insignificant with these thoughts in mind.
Down the road, it's a no brainer for me. But then I'm not into the cosmetics of looks either. If I were, I certainly wouldn't buy a Kubota. They are just with these last models beginning to get into this century with their looks.
I'm just after something that's user friendly.

No one has mentioned that loader bar on the 7800 getting in the way when you are fueling. Does Kubota offer remotes for the 7800? It has been mentioned, but the suspension seat of the B3030 was a big part of my choice. A short ride at the dealership on the 7800 had my back hurting.
