Temporarily overloading a dump trailer by a lot

I have seen it all the time where skid steers scoop gravel by the bucket directly out of a dump truck. I don't think it would be any different with a dump trailer. They leave the tail gate latched and then hoist the box part way up, to about 45 degrees and then just scoop from over the tailgate. If you have a long cord, or remote for your dump trailer control you could stand at the back to see, and hoist it to the point where it is almost wanting to slide. I am not sure if they have to keep hoisting as they go or if you pick the right angle and it just keeps sliding down to you. They can get a dump truck pretty much empty, just a little left against the tailgate, this way, one bucket at a time.

Could you fab a chute for the tailgate of your dump trailer, to neck down the rear of your trailer from 7 feet to 4 or 5 feet so everything would dump into your 6 foot bucket? Something like this? I'd think plywood would even work for a temporary solution.

If you are going to add blocks underneath to take the added weight, leave the rear end free to float. The frame is designed to be supported by the axles (and springs), not the tail end. I would look at the springs with the gravel and loader on board then think about adding blocks if the springs have bottomed out.
