Texas Spring/Summer Thread

I only got a bit more than a quarter inch; maybe .28". But we supposedly still have a chance for more every day this week, so I'm hopeful. And the grass is already in dire need of mowing.

1&1/4 when left this morning for work and it was still raining for couple hours. Been the nice slow rain needed on pastures. Got fertilizer out on all the hay meadows,already have 104rolls put up,its going to be a good year,thank you to the man above...

The lighting shut down our internet service yesterday, just got back up. 4.5" Mon.-Tue. noon and it looks like more may be on the way:cool2:

We got another 1.5 inches of rain overnight. Total of 4 inches since yesterday......noon thirty. Still raining too.

Another 4" of rain today. Tractors parked as this sand turns into quick sand for a few days after this much rain.

Tractors need rest too!

Got another 1.75 this morning. 4.35in since Saturday. Good runoff and tanks are filling now. My spring creek is flowing for first time in two years. HS

We got another 1/2 inch since noon, fore a total of 4.5 inches since noon yesterday. Add that to the 7 inches a week or two ago...............and think of all the water that could have filled another pond. What's the word Jinman uses?.............Jeez.

We got another 2.1 today, for a two day total of 5.6." More on the way, so they are saying. But then again, they say a lot of things on our local news.
