<font color="blue"> Henro?

By chance, are you a divorce attorney? (looking for business?)
</font>

Well...truth of the matter is that there is he who thinks he is the boss /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif, and there is she who knows she is the boss... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yes, Indy, I guess you are right...Henro's "Golden Rules" might not be practical in the real world... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Sure is fun to make believe though! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

AHAHAHA - Bob Skurka - I used your rule #5 yesterday! The 18 wheeler showed up yesterday with my new tiller. Now, it's bought & paid for by my business (how else could I justify it?) so it's not like the kids are going barefoot and hungry as I "gear up". But, with the bride back in school full time she definitely has an eye out for extraneous expenses. Anyway, the bride's not home but could be at any time. No liftgate service on the truck - dam! - I get out the 4110 and viola, instant impromptu lift gate. I get the tiller chained to the bucket, haul it off the truck and beat feet to the very last bay in the barn and tuck it safely inside. The bride comes home and drives by it - twice - and doesn't notice it (she parks her car 2 bays away). I go out last night and cover it with a tarp. Now, she'll never see it until the day a few weeks from now when I'm out tilling up the huge plot for a wildflower bed that she's wanted for years. At that point in time how & when I acquired it, what I paid for it, what I intend to do with it...none of it will matter because she'll finally have her flower bed!

If only it was that simple......My lovely bride will bring up things that I bought/did 28 years ago. LONG after I've forgot what I even did....

2nstonge . . . please remember to get it dirty BEFORE she sees it. Go spread some dirt/mud on it now while it is under that tarp. With any luck she will assume it has been around for a long time. This is also why those "better dealers" will arrange, for a slight extra fee, to delivery dirty dusty greasy implements right to your door.

Indy . . . they never forget. Our only hope is that while their brains are just like an elephant's, we don't see them develop a body that matches an elephant's. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

You're right Bob. We're in the grip of mud season now so I'll go chain it to the back of the tractor and take it out for a drag around the yard before she comes home. It'll look used and abused without ever being powered up!

The tips in this thread are just PRICELESS both for entertainment value (Henro) and for real-world practical strategems that I wouldn't hesitate to use (Bob) ..(some of 'em, particularly "mudding" new attachments, I have used /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ).

....only problem is, I'm gonna have to "clean up" my browser so that LOML doesn't find this thread if she ever gets curious about what goes on on TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I hope you all agree that none of us can afford to have "highly sensitive" information like this fall into the hands of BHs, SWMBOs, LOMLs, CFOs, etc. ....And may God have mercy on your Soul if you live with a WWOTN and SHE gets ahold of this! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

....would it be possible to change the title of this thread to "Proper Torquing of Lug Nuts when Using Calcium-Loaded R-4 Tires" ???? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The wrong person gets ahold of this, and you'll get YOUR lugnuts torqued alright.... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Precisely my point, Indy, and by the time you get to my age, you get careful about that kind of thing. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
